Smile, and the animal smiles

Your child smiles and the cat smiles back. They gasp and the dog’s ears shoot up. The face below is not a video: it is the app’s own engine, drawing live in your browser.

Cat
  1. Grin, and the cat grins wider

The further the corners of your mouth go, the further the cat’s do. Cheeks flush, whiskers lift. In the app, smiling at the camera is the whole control scheme.

  2. Gasp, and the ears shoot up

Wide eyes and raised brows lift the dog’s ears with them. Every expression moves ears, eyes and effects differently.

  3. Wink with one eye

Winking is the four-year-old favourite. Closing one eye alone takes practice — and they keep practising when a rabbit copies them.

  4. Puff those cheeks

Fill your cheeks with air and the panda’s balloon out too. It is a big cheek-muscle move, and the giggling comes free.

  5. Stick your tongue out

Tongues are tracked too. This is the one to pass the phone around with at a family gathering.

This much is free

The app is free to download. Mirror play is fully open, and you start with three animals and two mini-games. One optional purchase opens the rest, for good — there is no subscription.

  • All of mirror play — expressions, hats, scenes, stickers, photos and video recording
  • Three animals (cat, dog, rabbit) and two mini-games
  • All four seasonal packs — Christmas, Halloween, Harvest Moon, Lunar New Year
  • Unlock everything, once and forever — five more animals, six more games, Arcade Mix

The face never leaves the device

By default the camera image is never displayed, never saved and never transmitted. Apple’s on-device face tracking reads values like "smile 80%", and even those stay on the phone. No ads, no subscription, no accounts, no data collection.

Try it with your own face

Free to start. One unlock, no subscription.
